Speaker: Brian Ryks, Metropolitan Airport Commission
Executive Director/CEO
Our speaker today was Metropolitan Airports Commission
Executive Director/CEO, Brian Ryks. His topic was "Exceptional
Airport Experiences for a Thriving Minnesota" Mr. Ryks walked
us through the purpose of MAC, MSP passengers and operations,
facility and airfield improvements and innovations of the
travel experience. Those in attendance learned a great
deal in 25 minutes. Mr. Ryks answered many questions and was very
generous with his "after the meeting" discussion time.

It's always a special Rotary day when new members are officially welcomed
into The Rotary Club of Edina. During this induction ceremony new
member's are introduced to the club, given a Rotary International lapel pin
and club welcome packet. Today we inducted James Olcott seen here
with his sponsor Past President Paul Peterson.
Bob Scott, The Rotary Foundation Chair recognized members
Stefan Smith (PHF +3) and Kelley Burnett (PHF + 8) for their continued support
funding the international arm of Rotary International.
Current RCE and ERF Board Treasurer, Erica Allenburg, led this week's meeting while
Lisa was out of town on business. Here Erica is supported by Club Administration Director,
Mike Martiny and Rotary International Foundation Directory, Bob Scott.
Introducing co-workers and friends to Rotary is an easy ask.
Our program speakers are top level in their subject field, the food and service great
and the presentation a "no pressure" introduction to what today's Rotary is
all about. Yoshi Asato is sharing with his new hire, Luke.
