DESCRIPTION:Our District Governor Tom Gump is a member and Past President
  of The Rotary Club of Edina / Morningside.  He is passionate about gro
 wing Rotary Membership through forming new and innovative\, cause-based
  clubs.  For example\, he founded the first ever Rotary Club for Veterans
  in the world. He\, his wife Catherine and their son Andrew are very in
 volved in Rotary Youth Exchange having hosted six exchange students.  I
 n addition to leading our District’s Board of Directors\, Tom serves on
  the Board of Directors for both the North Star Rotary Youth Exchange 
 and The District 5950 Foundation.  Tom currently serves as the General C
 hair of the 2021 Zone Institute\, which will be held in Houston\, Texas\, 
 next September.  Tom was the Assistant General Chair of this year's virtu
 al Zone Institute. Tom also has served Rotary at the Zone Level as our Zo
 ne’s Promotion Coordinator for both the Honolulu and Toronto Rotary Int
 ernational Conventions and was Assistant Zone Promotion Coordinator for th
 e Hamburg International Convention. Tom and Catherine are Major Donors to
  The Rotary Foundation and members of both the Paul Harris and Bequest So
 cieties.
