A roasted turkey\, stuffing\, cranberries\ , potatoes and gravy along with vegetables\, oranges\, even a delicious pi e\, make their way to area homes via active Rotarians and their families. With a side of warm knit mittens to help with the coming winter\, these Th anksgiving Baskets bring some brightness and joy into the holiday season.   PLANS FOR THE 2021 EVENT WHAT: Community Luncheon and Thanksgiving Bask et Preparation and Delivery (85 baskets) WHERE: Assembly at the Edina Coun try Club\; home delivery throughout Twin Cities Area WHEN: Wednesday\, Nov ember 24th TIME: 11:30 a.m. Buffet Luncheon Noon Basket Assembly begins  1:10 pm Last Basket Assembled WHO: Members and families of the Rotary Club of Edina and the Edina Morningside Rotary Club   • 85 Baskets to be de livered. • 21 families from Edina Rotary\, 9 teams from Edina Morningsid e.   PROCEDURES IN COVID TIMES - PLEASE REVIEW CAREFULLY   Lunch begins at 11:30 and is open to all by registration. Register HERE if you and your team will eating lunch. Choose your time slot between Noon and 1:10 pm HE RE for basket assembly. Members and their families participating in this y ear’s Thanksgiving Basket delivery may choose whether or not they will b e attending the luncheon before assembling their basket. 5 minute assembly time slots are first come first serve and participants are being asked to schedule a five minute block of time to assemble one basket per team depa rting for delivery after the baskets are complete. Team Captain name only should sign up for your group's time slot HERE.  Scroll through the full list to pick a time that will work for your group. Two team's per time sl ot can sign up. Your group size can be up to six people and should check-i n at the front desk outside the ballroom before entering the ballroom for the luncheon or your chosen time slot.   BASKET ASSEMBLY SIGN UP HERE!   Working in conjunction with the Edina Country Club\, we will establish tw o assembly stations on separate sides of the meeting room at the club. Par ticipants are requested to arrive on time and will be directed to their as sembly station where Rotary volunteers will guide them in assembling their delivery. Once the baskets are complete\, member families will receive de livery information and locations\, then depart the Country Club for delive ry.    • Members will pack only for their delivery routes. • Baskets may be delivered and placed at the front door for receiving families to t ake inside.
