DESCRIPTION:The Rotary Club of Edina will hold a Serve-A-Meal event at Corn
 erstone from 5:00 to 7 p.m. Tuesday\, March 3\, 2019.  At this Community
  Service Committee project\, volunteers will serve a meal for 50 to 60 Cor
 nerstone clients and their children. Rotary volunteers are encouraged to m
 ingle with the residence and may bring activity books/crayons to play with
  and give the younger residents. Volunteers at Cornerstone have a direct i
 mpact on the lives of people affected by domestic violence\, sexual viole
 nce\, and human trafficking.   We need 10 volunteers for the event. Plan
  to arrive at 5:00 p.m.  There will be a facility orientation at 5:15 pm.
  The meal will be served from 5:30-6:25 with cleanup following. Cornerston
 e is located at 1000 E. 80th St.\, Bloomington. Cornerstone does not all
 ow children volunteers. Volunteers will also have to complete a short form
  for a background check – which Cornerstone will do. They have been a lo
 ng-standing service partner with the Edina Rotary and were a recipient of 
 a local Rotary grant this year.    Please sign up early to allow event o
 rganizers time to process and submit information for security procedures a
 t the facility. Signup for this event will close on Tuesday\, February 25.
