DESCRIPTION:Hard to believe it’s “that” time of year again. A little 
 chill in the air and school turns our thoughts to fall\, and suddenly cost
 umes are back on racks at Target and CostCo. Halloween!   Last year was o
 ur 2nd time participating in this City of Edina Parks Department HalloBoo 
 event which moved from a park to indoors due to storms. All of us truly ha
 d a ball handing out candy and interacting “character to character” wi
 th 500 kids and their parents.   Volunteer options (come for one or stay 
 for all!)  SIGN UP HERE   —Setup booth: 3 to 3:30 p.m. A table with ba
 nner and filling 500 total “goody bags” with candy we’ve purchased. 
 (They have specific rules about this).   Then: We’re costumed and greet
 ing costumed trick-or-treaters who stop by for candy. (Dozens of other boo
 ths\, games\, concessions going on same time).   It’s 2 shifts of pre-r
 egistered Edina Parks Department attendees. 500 total\, it’s busy and fu
 n. Handout Candy volunteers: —4 to 5:30 p.m. —6 to 7:30 p.m.   —Cle
 an up booth volunteers at 7:30 p.m.   BONUS: —We head out at 7:30/8:00
  p.m. to Hilltop for our very own Rotary VIP “after-party” to celebrat
 e! They loved seeing us adults in costumes!     Any Rotarian and their f
