The Rotary Clubs of Edina and Edina-Morningside will present  “Grooves and Foods,” a new “Grooves and Foods” summer concert series at Centennial Lakes Park’s  Maetzold Amphitheater, 7499 France Ave. S. The series will feature classic rock tributes and  community spirit.
 
Produced by Minnesota Music Hall of Famer Mick Sterling and Wayne Anthony, this June series will feature the music of Billy Joel, the Doobie Brothers, Van Morrison, the Steve Miller Band and more.
 
Current Rotary Club of Edina President and Minnesota Music Hall of Famer St. Paul Peterson will also perform. Events run every Tuesday in June, with a full evening of food, entertainment and free live music.
The festival begins at 5:30 p.m. each Tuesday beginning June 10 with “The Mick Sterling Experience,” a live radio show covering music, Rotary and local entertainment. Camion Mobile Kitchen will sell food and beverages from 5 to 8 p.m. Concerts begin at 7 p.m., with seating limited to 1,000 attendees.

Peterson worked hard to bring the series to life. “As Rotarians, we embraced the opportunity to create a community event for Edina,” said Peterson. “We’re celebrating Rotary’s mission of Service Above Self while uniting people through music.”
