The meeting duty "Barker Writer" is being eliminated and will become "Guest & Meeting Host". The general description of the duties of the meeting host are as follows:
Guest & Member Host – Please arrive at the Edina Country Club no later than 12:00 pm. In this role you should be available to guests and new members when they arrive at the front desk. Your role is to ensure our guest’s and new member’s presence is recognized and engage with them to find out if they have any questions, comments or perceptions regarding our club and Rotary. After a brief conversation, scan the room and introduce them to a member in attendance who can further enhance their meeting experience. Look for member matches who may have similar life experiences in the areas of career, hobby, leisure time activity or community involvement.
The ability to post and access club Powerpoint presentations on the club and foundation You Tube channel, our social media posts, "The Barker" newsletter, club website and email communication are the many resources for our club membership to keep up to date on club activities. Contact Mike Martiny if you have any questions or concerns.

With our fearless leader Joe Hayes (Joe Hayes) unable to be with us today, the leadership vacuum was filled quite elegantly by Shelly Loberg. Shelly regaled us with tales of travel of our members to the wilds of the Caribbean to the jungles of Central America and finally to the mountains of The West. It was brilliant.
