Rotary Club of Edina Family Picnicis set for Thursday June 20th at Centennial Lakes Parks Hughes Pavilion, 7499 France Ave South, Edina, 55435. 952-833-9583. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and go until 8:30 p.m. The picnic will take the place of our regular Rotary meeting that week.
The caterers will be providing a fantastic menu of all beef hot dogs, hamburgers, cold slaw, potato salad, fruit, baked beans, chips and an assortment of bars. A complete beverage selection of red and white wine will be provided as well as domestic and premium beer. Soda, water and non-alcoholic beverages will be available as well.

The Thursday, June 27, Rotary Club of Edina meeting will be the last meeting of the Rotary year. The presidency of the club will transition from John Flynn to Josh Sprague. Sprague will serve as Club President from July 2019 through June 2020.
We'll hear from both the outgoing and incoming president at the meeting, as well as being introduced to the new and returning members of the Rotary Club of Edina Board of Directors and Edina Rotary Foundation Board of Directors. We'll also recognize the board members who are retiring from their board duties.
Join us for this special meeting at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome. Cost for the lunch and program is $20 for adults and $12 for children. Cash, check and credit card payments are accepted.
There is NO ROTARY MEETING July 4, due to the 4th of July holiday.

The Rotary Club of Edina Car Show will be hosted at Southdale Center parking lot (in front of the old Herberger’s). This family-friendly event will feature food, games, vendors, and some of the best collector cars (and bikes!) in Minnesota, including classic, vintage, and exotic.

Most members are assigned at least one duty on the roster, occasionally a member will be assigned more than one assignment based on how their name came up alphabetically, or they may not have been assigned at all this time.

Kris was recognized for you her service and received our best wishes for every success in her new responsibilities with the Mall of America Hyatt Regency.
John welcomed back members who attended the International Convention in Hamburg and announced that International Rotary Convention will be held June 6-10, 2020 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The Edina Country Club will be serving Mandarin Orange Chicken Salad or Chicken Olivia at our June 27 meeting. Lunch begins at 12:15 p.m. with the meeting to follow and ending at 1:30 p.m. Visiting Rotarian's and non-Rotarians are welcome to join us. Cost is $20 for lunch and program.
