Speaker for July 11: Sheila Oliver, VP/General Manager Fox 9 KMSP
Sheila Oliver is the Vice President and General Manager of FOX 9 KMSP and FOX 9+ WFTC, where she has worked since 2002, starting first as the V.P. of Sales, and then being promoted to the role of General Manager in December, 2014.

A true Michigan State Spartan, Sheila’s television career actually began on radio at WJLB FM 98 in Detroit right after college. She then moved “south” to join the start-up FOX affiliate in Toledo (WUPW) where she worked from 1986 to 1997, and where she developed her love for broadcast television.  She was later a General Manager for television stations in Richmond, VA (CBS WTVR) and Milwaukee, WI (Indies WCGV/WVTV). She joined Fox in Phoenix, AZ (Fox KSAZ/KUTP) as the VP Sales.

Homeless Breakfast Service THIS Saturday, July 13 -
RESCHEDULED EVENT - NEED SIX MORE VOLUNTEERS

The Breakfast for the Homeless service project has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 13, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 913 Cedar Ave (Caboose area).

If you had originally signed up to help on Saturday, June 15th we hope you are still interested in helping. We need about 6 more Rotarians to help in prepping food and serving about 100 homeless people breakfast. Click here to volunteer.

Sgt. Grant Snyder, MPD Homeless Liason, brought to our club his message of homelessness and his efforts to build relationships and bring safety to those in need. His words and actions had a profound impact on many of our members.

This event is scheduled to be held outdoors. In case of inclement weather, an email or text will be sent to you on the day of the event. Please contact Ann Platt with any questions.

In Review - July 4th Parade and Car Show
There was no official club meeting on Thursday, July 4th. The Rotary Club of Edina participated in the City of Edina 4th of July parade and then carried through to present the 1st Annual Car Show. What an amazing day! #EdinaParade and #EdinaCarShow back to back! Over 500 people attended the show, with 100 or so classic, exotic, and vintage cars on hand. Thanks again to our inaugural sponsors Key Cadillac, Grandview Tire & Auto, and Lamettry's for making this event possible! Here's the day's review in pictures.
