Sheila Oliver is the Vice President and General Manager of FOX 9 KMSP and FOX 9+ WFTC, where she has worked since 2002, starting first as the V.P. of Sales, and then being promoted to the role of General Manager in December, 2014.
A true Michigan State Spartan, Sheila’s television career actually began on radio at WJLB FM 98 in Detroit right after college. She then moved “south” to join the start-up FOX affiliate in Toledo (WUPW) where she worked from 1986 to 1997, and where she developed her love for broadcast television. She was later a General Manager for television stations in Richmond, VA (CBS WTVR) and Milwaukee, WI (Indies WCGV/WVTV). She joined Fox in Phoenix, AZ (Fox KSAZ/KUTP) as the VP Sales.

On Saturday July 13th Rotarians gathered near the Caboose. To assist Sergeant Grant Snyder and his wife prepare breakfast for the homeless in the ares. During the summer these folks sleep under bridges, in the train shelters or even on the trains. Sergeant Snyder spoke to our club in March. There were 14 of us:

Josh Sprague was recently inducted as President of the Rotary Club of Edina.
Sprague is a luxury real estate agent with Lakes Sotheby’s International Realty in Edina and has practiced residential real estate for 19 years. In addition to his Rotary service, Sprague has served on the Edina City Council, chaired the Southdale YMCA Board of Directors, and coached for the Edina Soccer and Hockey Associations. Sprague lives in Edina with his wife, Kelly, and their four children: Charlie, Johnny, Kelly and Nick.
There was no official club meeting on Thursday, July 4th. The Rotary Club of Edina participated in the City of Edina 4th of July parade and then carried through to present the 1st Annual Car Show. What an amazing day! #EdinaParade and #EdinaCarShow back to back! Over 500 people attended the show, with 100 or so classic, exotic, and vintage cars on hand. The Edina Country Club will serve Salmon Caesar or Smoke Roasted Pork Loin with Dried Apricot and Chili Marmalade at the July 25, 2019, Rotary Club of Edina meeting. Lunch service begins at 12:15 p.m. with the meeting to follow and ends at 1:30 p.m. Visiting Rotarian's and non-Rotarians are welcome to join us. Cost is $20 per guest for lunch and program.
