She has been on the air for almost three decades and started her career as a beat news reporter, then medical reporter and over a couple of decades and many markets worked to become an Emmy award winning television news anchor. In 2009 she joined Paul Douglas to help launch his new weather television network called “Weather Nation TV” as their VP of Programming. Then she was offered her own talk show at WCCO-Radio in the Twin Cities. Honesty, authenticity, personal improvement and fun are the tenets of her work and life.

President Paul Peterson announced the date, theme and location for this year's Edina Rotary Foundation fundraiser. Please mark Saturday, September 28 as the date to party at "The Purple Gala". The location will be the internationally known Paisley Park in Chanhassen. Rotary Club of Edina exclusive early bird tickets go on sale, Thursday, July 18 to August 1, 2024. Early bird price is $199. Celebrated musician and community advocate Paul “St. Paul” Peterson will be inducted as the Rotary Club of Edina’s 70th President at the group’s weekly meeting Thursday, June 27.

“As the 70th President of the Rotary Club of Edina, I am honored to lead this dedicated group of individuals who embody the spirit of ‘Service above Self,’” said Peterson, who has been a Rotarian for 12  years. “Our goal is to create a club for everyone to come together and make a positive impact in our community. Together, we will continue to build on our legacy of service, bringing about meaningful change both locally and globally.”
