Every year, the Edina Rotary Foundation holds an Annual Fundraiser & Gala to raise funds for local and international project, programs, and grants. The theme of this year's Gala is "Around the World"

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 26, 2020, and Saturday, October 3, 2020. While expected COVID 19 restrictions mean we won’t be together in a ballroom this fall, we want to make sure our Edina Rotary members and their guests can still get together in person but in smaller groups.

At this time we are looking for additional hosts, please review our 2020 Gala Host Guidelines and let Catherine or Bjorn know if you're interesting in hosting.

The money raised at the Fundraiser allows our club to support many local and international projects, which continue year-after-year because of the commitment of our Rotary Club of Edina members and community members.  These projects include:

  • Camp Enterprise: Weekend camp on the free enterprise system
  • Cornerstone: Advocacy and protection services for victims of abuse
  • Feed My Starving Children: We purchase food and assemble food packets for international delivery
  • Leadership Ethics Seminar: Ethics workshop for Edina High School students
  • Interact Club: Rotary club for ages 12-18, sponsored by the two Edina Rotary clubs
  • Rotaract Club: Rotary club for young professionals ages 18-30, chartered by the two Edina Rotary clubs
  • Escuintla, Guatemala: Delivering clean water and sanitation to an entire town
  • Coban, Guatemala: Partners in an international collaboration that brought water filtration units to remote mountain villages outside Coban
