Rotary Club of Edina Past President Shelly Loberg recently recognized a Rotarian for outstanding service to the club and community. Kaylin Eidsness was named “Rotarian of the Year.”
Eidsness, who joined the club in 2013, co-chaired the Edina Rotary Foundation’s annual fundraiser, “Bootleggers’ Ball.” A talented graphic designer, Eidsness designed the logo and materials for the 2023 fundraiser, as well as materials for most of the club’s fundraisers for the past decade. She is also a longtime member of the club’s Public Image Committee and was an instrumental member of the Program Committee for the 2023-2024 Rotary year, finding and assisting speakers for weekly meetings.
Bob Scott, a member since 2023, was named the club’s Volunteer of the Year. Scott served on the club’s Fundraiser, Scholarships and Women in Leadership Award committees.
Jennifer Bennerotte was presented with a Distinguished Service Award. She co-chaired the annual fundraiser with Eidsness; chaired the Scholarships, Women in Leadership Award and third-grade literacy program committees and served on the Community Service – Local Grants and Public Image committees.Eidsness, Scott and Bennerotte each received a plaque for their dedicated service during the 2023-2024 Rotary year, which ended June 30.
