Rotary Club of Edina members and their family, friends, and community members spent "A Night at the Sands" Oct. 12, 2013. The annual Fundraiser Gala to benefit the Edina Rotary Foundation was held at the Hotel Sofitel in Bloomington. The Fundraiser raised more than $100,000 this year! The Rotary Club of Edina held their annual fundraiser gala on Oct. 12, 2013, at the Hotel Sofitel in Bloomington. The fundraiser benefits the Edina Rotary Foundation. This year, the Gala Fundraiser raised more than $100,000. This is $18,000 more than last year's record-breaking fundraising event.

President Steve Slyce commented, "All of our members, co-chairs and the team they put together made this event one of the most financially successful fundraisers ever for our club. We are happy that our Local and International Directors will be able to donate 100 percent of the proceeds to the many that are in need of it."

The theme, A Night at the Sands, was played out in the invitations, decor, programs, and some attendees fun attire.
