Amanda Ottman, Rotary World Peace Fellow, to speak at Sept. 12 meeting

Please join us for our Sept. 12 Rotary Club of Edina meeting, where our speaker will be Amanda Ottman. She will be speaking on "Do You Want to Change the World? Experiences of a Rotary World Peace Fellow.

Ottman is a Minnesota native who started with Rotary as a Youth Exchange Student to Argentina. A proud graduate of the University of Minnesota, she spent two years after graduation working in the Dominican Republic at Doulos Discovery School, a K-12 bilingual school that seeks to educate children of all backgrounds. Back in Minnesota, Ottman most recently worked with CLUES as a community social worker with the Latino community. In 2011 Amanda was accepted as a Rotary World Peace Fellow to study her Masters in International Relations in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Amanda returned at the beginning of this year from her Rotary-sponsored internship with Save the Children Spain.

Rotary Club of Edina member Lloyd Pearson will also be giving a Past President Modified Millennium Talk (PPMMT) at the meeting.
