Auctioneer Karen Sorbo to speak at March 6 Rotary Club of Edina meeting
The Rotary Club of Edina is pleased to welcome Karen Sorbo as the program speaker at the March 6 meeting. Sorbo will speak about "Becoming a Compassionate Auctioneer." The meeting is at 12:15 p.m. at the Edina Country Club.

Sorbo is one of the leading benefit auctioneers in the country. Since graduating from Missouri Auction School and the world-wide college of Auctioneering in 1993, she has received numerous awards and honors. Over the last 20 years, Sorbo has conducted more than 2,500 auctions, raising over 500 million dollars for deserving organizations. In 2011, she was recognized by the Minnesota Monthly as a “Woman of Influence.” In 2012, Sorbo was recognized by the WSA (Women’s Speaker’s Association) as the “Woman You Need to Know.” Karen recently became an author, publishing her first book, “Your Inner Butterfly.”
