Dave Mona to be guest speaker at the Oct. 3 Rotary meeting
Join us on Thursday, Oct. 3, for a joint meeting with the Edina Morningside Rotary Club (EMRC). The guest speaker will be Twin Cities public relations pioneer Dave Mona. He will speak on "Learning from the Best."
Member Ann Goebel will give her classification talk as well.
The Oct. 3 Rotary meeting will be a joint event with the Edina Morningside Rotary Club (EMRC). The Rotary Club of Edina and the EMRC get together twice a year to hold joint meetings.
The guest speaker at this fall's joint meeting is Dave Mona. A member of both the Minnesota Business Hall of Fame and the Twin Cities Volunteer Hall of Fame, Mona retired in 2013 from the public relations firm he founded in 1981. A former reporter for both WCCO TV and The Minneapolis Tribune, Mona has co-hosted the WCCO Radio Sunday Morning Sports Huddle with Sid and Dave for 32 years. He played a key role in bringing both the Super Bowl and Men’s Final Four to the Twin Cities. He co-chaired the 2008 U.S. Open Women’s Golf Championship and Interlachen and he also is co-chair of the 2015 U.S. Senior Games in Minnesota. Mona will speak on "Learning from the Best."
