Star Tribune outdoors editor Dennis Anderson will be the program speaker at the Rotary Club of Edina meeting Thursday, Sept. 11. He will speak about The Legacy Act, and how $300 Million a year in conservation, parks and trails, and arts funding is being spent, and what it means to Minnesota's future.

The Rotary Club of Edina meets Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome. The cost for lunch and the program is $18.

 

The Rotary Club of Edina will welcome Dennis Anderson, Star Tribune outdoors editor, as the program speaker at their meeting Thursday, Sept. 11. He will speak about The Legacy Act, and how $300 Million a year in conservation, parks and trails, and arts funding is being spent, and what it means to Minnesota's future. 

Anderson has been at the Star Tribune since 1993 as an outdoors columnist. Before that, from 1980-1993, he held a similar position at the St. Paul Pioneer PressHe and his colleague, outdoors writer Doug Smith, cover hunting, fishing, camping, boating, paddling and other outdoor activities, as well as natural resource conservation for the paper.
