Mary Beth Growney Selene
The Rotary Club of Edina will host the Edina Morningside Rotary Club at the Thursday, Nov. 20, meeting. This joint meeting will feature program speaker Mary Beth Growney Selene, a director for Rotary International for 2013-2015, and will highlight The Rotary Foundation. She is a member of the Madison West Towne-Middleton Rotary Club in Wisconsin.
 
All are welcome at the meeting. Cost for lunch and the program is $18.
 
The Rotary Club of Edina will welcome Mary Beth Growney Selene as program speaker Thursday, Nov. 20, at a special joint meeting with Edina Morningside Rotary Club. Rotary Club of Edina and EMRC meet jointly twice a year, in the spring and the fall. Growney Selene will talk about The Rotary Foundation. This meeting will be hosted by Rotary Club of Edina, and will be at the Edina Country Club from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 20.
 
Growney Selene is a director at Rotary International, and she will serve from 2013-2015. She is a member of the Madison West Towne-Middleton Rotary Club in Wisconsin. Growney Selene is founder and president of Ryan Signs Inc. A non-lawyer fee arbitrator, she is a member of the Client Security Fund for the State Bar of Wisconsin. She is active with the What If? Foundation, which supports children living in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
A Rotarian since 1987, Growney Selene has served Rotary Interational as RI president’s representative, Permanent Fund national adviser, Annual Programs Fund strategic adviser, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, RI training leader, Council on Legislation representative, and district governor.

Growney Selene is a recipient of RI’s Service Above Self Award and The Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service. She and her husband, Alan, are Major Donors and Bequest Society and Rotary Foundation Sustaining Members.
