Edina Rotary Honors Jane Chen with Paul Harris Fellowship

 Edina MN, February 19, - Jane Chen was recognized by the Rotary Club of Edina Noon on Thursday February 14th for her generous and continued support to The Rotary Foundation.  Click on Title to read more!

 

 
 The Paul Harris Fellowship is named for Paul Harris, who founded Rotary with three business associates in Chicago in 1905.  The fellowship was established in his honor in 1957 to express appreciation for contribution of $1,000 to the humanitarian and educational programs of The Rotary Foundation. 

Jane Chen was named a Paul Harris Fellow, in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among peoples of the world.  Although not a Rotarian, each year, Jane has given Christmas gifts to her customers in the form of a donation to The Rotary Foundation. 

 The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.  The Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world.  For more information on The Rotary Foundation, visit the Rotary International website at www.rotary.org.
