General Larry Shellito to speak at Nov. 7 Rotary Club of Edina meeting
Please join us for the the Nov. 7 Rotary Club of Edina meeting at the Edina Country Club, where the program speaker will be General Larry Shellito. He will speak on "Military Cutbacks and the Impact on Veterans."
Rotarian Jack Kennefick will give his classification talk at the meeting.
General Larry Shellito will be the program speaker at the regular meeting Thursday, Nov. 7. Shellito is serving as Minnesota's Commissioner of Veteran Affairs. He will speak on "Military Cutbacks and the Impact on Veterans."
Shellito Also served as Minnesota’s Adjutant General from 2003 to 2010). He also served for 39 years in the Minnesota National Guard. Shellito served for three years in Active Army, including a tour of duty in Vietnam serving as a Mobile Advisory Team Leader. His civilian work includes 31 years at Alexandria Technical College, ending as President for the last nine years. He has several degrees, including BA, BS, MS, EdD, US Army War College.
