Greg Krauska will be the program speaker at Rotary Club of Edina's meeting Thursday, April 17. He will speak about "Beyond the Box: Delivering Shelter, Warmth, and Dignity."

He is a volunteer ambassador for ShelterBox, a global disaster relief charity and Rotary’s first recognized project partner. Since its founding in England in the year 2000, ShelterBox Response Team Volunteers have responded to more than 200 natural and man-made disasters in more than 90 countries (including the United States), delivering shelter, blankets and other essentials to more than 150,000 families. Krauska will explain what is in a ShelterBox, and will also bring to light the complexities of global disaster relief—how a ShelterBox goes from donation to delivery—and beyond.

Krauska is chairman of the ShelterBox USA Youth Council, which is focused on engaging youth groups, schools, scouts and exchange students in the work of ShelterBox. Greg is a member of the Chanhassen Rotary and has served as District 5950 Membership Chair. He is also president of The Change Agent Group, which helps clients rethink their customer strategy to create better customer experiences, increase customer loyalty and to win bigger and better business with less effort.

Please join us at the Edina Country Club at 12:15 p.m. for luncheon meeting. All are welcome. Lunch is $18.

There is no April 10 meeting for the Rotary Club of Edina, due to the joint meeting held April 8 with the Edina Morningside Rotary Club.
