The Rotary Club of Edina welcomes program speaker Jean LaFavor to the April 3 meeting at the Edina Country Club. She has worked in health care for more than 25 years, and will speak about "Self-Funded Health Plans—Rx for Health Reform."

LaFavor has significant experience with self-funding as well as in the managed care arena. She joined HealthEZ in 1998 and is responsible for TPA sales and business development. Prior to that, she held senior level positions with EBP Health Plans and First Health.

Her career in health care began as a risk manager for a large multi-state employer, where she got to know HealthEZ as a client—so she has come full circle. She has spoken at numerous conferences about self-funding, PPO discount myths, and health reform.

Jeanie has a B.A. degree in Sociology, Psychology and Business from St. Cloud State University and has also done graduate work at the University of Minnesota. She is a member of the Self-funded Institute of America (SIIA), Healthcare Administrators Association 9HCAA), Minnesota Association of Health Underwriters (MAHU), National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and Minnesota Medical Group Management Association (MMGMA).

Please join us for this informative program on April 3!
