David holds a Masters in City and Regional Planning, specializing in Housing and Economic Development, from the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs.


His undergraduate degree is in Urban Geography and International Politics from Macalester College. He has spent time in the public, private, nonprofit and counseling worlds, including the City of Minneapolis Economic Development Agency, the Family Housing Fund and the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs.

David has been analyzing housing data since 2003 and helping people to better understand complex market trends and conditions. In his limited spare time, he enjoys bicycling, alpine skiing, investing, cartography and cooking. David lives in Southwest Minneapolis and is the Research Manager at 10K Research.
