Dave Stead has served as the Executive Director of the Minnesota State High School League since March of 1988. During his tenure, he has been proactive in promoting the educational aspect of League-sponsored activities for Minnesota’s 500 member schools. He is a Past-President of the Board of Directors of the National Federation of State High School Associations, is Past-President of the Minnesota Twin’s Community Fund Board, and has been a member of the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission Board since its inception in 1987, and he has spoken at conferences and conventions, authored articles for local and national publications and is an advocate for student-centered educational athletic and fine arts activities.
