Please join us for our Oct. 17 Rotary Club of Edina meeting, which will feature Julie Steen. She is the executive director of the National Parkinson Foundation Minnesota, and will be speaking on "Serving the Parkinson's Community in Minnesota."
There will be no Oct. 10 Rotary meeting. The Rotary Club of Edina Fundraiser Gala, A Night at the Sands, will be held Oct. 12.
Julie Steen, executive director of the National Parkinson Foundation Minnesota (NPFM), will be the guest speaker at the Oct. 17 Rotary meeting. She will speak about "Serving the Parkinson's Community in Minnesota."
Steen joined the NPFM in 2012. Prior to taking on that role, she assisted technology companies in building marketing strategies to penetrate new market segments. Her expertise is in building relationships, marketing and organizational developments. Steen says she is thrilled to be putting her expertise and skills to work in the Parkinson's community. When she started her work with NPFM, she had one friend with Parkinson's. Now she has many.
