In 2003, Kim Valentini stepped away from a career as a corporate public relations and marketing executive to evaluate what was missing in her life. Fueled by a desire to find meaning and to be a voice for women and children, she launched a 5-hour a week “service project” that would quickly become a global force.  Twenty years later   Kim’s “project”, Smile Network International, has resulted in the presence of 24 medical surgical sites in 13 countries, on 5 continents.  More than 4,500 children have received the gift of a life-altering surgery as a result of the work of the organization she founded. Kim travels the U.S. speaking to corporate and civic organizations, educational institutions and leadership conferences. Her stories of her life experiences inspire audiences to dream big, take risks, and listen to that little voice inside of yourself to identify your true purpose. Attendees laugh and cry in equal measures, always walking away inspired and motivated with the lessons they’ve learned.
