The Rotary year is coming to a close, and the Rotary Club of Edina meeting on Thursday, June 19, will mark the passing of the presidency from current President Steve Slyce to 2014-2015 President Jeff Ohe. Please join us for this important meeting, where the Club will also honor outgoing board members who worked so diligently with President Slyce, and welcome the new board who will serve with President Ohe.

Rotary Club of Edina meets at 12:15 p.m. at the Edina Country Club. Cost for lunch is $18.

 

The June 19 Rotary Club of Edina meeting marks a transition. It is the last meeting for outgoing President Steve Slyce, and the first meeting for incoming President Jeff Ohe. Both Rotarians will speak at the meeting, reflecting on the Rotary year coming to a close, and the year ahead.

Outgoing board members Scott MacDonald (Past President), Tom Bach (Community Service Director—Projects), John Flynn (International Service Director), Mary Hustad (Membership Director—Recruitment), and Marty Kupper (Club Administration Director) will be honored for their service to the Club.

Incoming board members Barbara Born (Club Administration Director), Gary Pedersen (International Service Director), Josh Sprague (Membership Director—Recruitment), and Mary Swendsen (Community Service Director—Projects) will be welcomed. Current Youth Service Director Heather Hansen will be serving another term on the board. Other members who will continue to serve out their two-year terms on the 2014-2015 board are Mike Kallas (Community Service—Grants), Michael Stanzak (Membership Director—Recruitment), and Will Steinke (The Rotary Foundation Director). 

And of course, current board officers will move into new positions. In addition to Jeff Ohe becoming President, Jennifer Bennerotte becomes President-Elect and Ann Platt moves into the Treasurer position. And last, but not least, San Asato will join the board as secretary.
