Join the Rotary Club of Edina for their Thursday, Feb. 20, meeting, where the program speaker will be Chris Brooks. He is on the faculty at North Central University, and teaches Youth and Community Development in the Center for Youth and Leadership, as well as working with a few outside organizations. He will speak about "First Things First: Protecting Kids and Families."

The Rotary Club of Edina will welcome leadership trainer Chris Brooks as the program speaker at the Club's Feb. 20 meeting. Brooks is a values-driven leader who has provided leadership for large organizations, primarily in the social/nonprofit sector. He is a sought-after trainer, consultant, public speaker and strategist, who is a passionate advocate for economic justice and the well-being of children, youth and families. 

Brooks serves full time on the faculty of North Central University. He teaches Youth and Community Development in the Center for Youth and Leadership, and manages a small portfolio of strategic external relationships. His subject matter expertise includes: leadership development, community development, strategic planning, networking, public relations and public speaking.
