Shelly Loberg was recently inducted as President of the Rotary Club of Edina.

Loberg is the current Vice President of the Edina Chamber of Commerce and Explore Edina (the visitors bureau for the community) and joined Rotary in 2015. She became actively involved on the Club Board of Directors in 2017 as the International Service Director and served three years in that position before beginning her leadership journey in 2020. Loberg is most passionate about Rotary's international impact in developing countries and has both authored and co-authored several global and district Rotary grants aiding moms and babies in both Guatemala and Zimbabwe. She is looking forward to helping fellow members find their passion in Rotary to increase engagement and beginning several new international projects.

Regarding the 2023-2024 Rotary International theme, "Create Hope in the World," Loberg said, "Rotarians are people of action in our communities and are inspiring hope and optimism each and every day, and I'm proud to represent our Rotary Club of Edina both locally and across the globe."
