Join us for the Rotary Club of Edina meeting at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21. The program speaker will be Robert Stevens, president and CEO of Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. He will speak about the medical center's footprint in the health care world, as well as recent health care changes.

There will be no Rotary meeting this Thursday, Nov. 14, due to the Veterans Day Luncheon held Nov. 11.

 

The Rotary Club of Edina will welcome Robert Stevens as the program speaker on Nov. 21. The meeting will be held at 12:15 p.m. at the Edina Country Club. 

Stevens is the president and CEO of Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. He will speak about the medical center's footprint in the health care world, as well as recent health care changes. 

Stevens has a masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota. In 1993 he was recognized by the Healthcare Forum as one of the country’s emerging leaders in healthcare and, in 2008, was one of 20 to receive the University of Minnesota School of Public Health’s Annual Service Award. He has held numerous healthcare positions throughout his career including executive director of the first healthcare cooperative in the United States. He is currently the chair of the Minnesota Department of Health Provider Peer Grouping Advisory Committee and the Minnesota Hospital Association Public Policy Committee. 

Ridgeview Medical Center is an independent, nonprofit, regional healthcare network. Ridgeview has more than 1,800 employees and 11 sites.
