Saturday, May 17, Rotary Club of Edina members came together to do a spring clean-up of two parks in Edina—Wooddale Park and Utley Park. Organized by Matt Boockmeier, the group had a great time cleaning up for summer, and enjoying Tom Pirsch's famous chili after their hard work.

Some lucky Rotarians got to don safety vests announcing themselves as Rotary Club of Edina members ready to clean that park!

Last Saturday a group of 16 Rotarians and family members pitched in to do a spring clean-up of Wooddale Park and Utley Park in Edina.

Rotarians Hal Harris and Jean Morrison were just two of the volunteers at the park spring clean-up event.

The self appointed supervisor (also the chair for the event), Matt Bookmeier, said "I am proud of our crew. I think it takes great management to turn such a lack of talent into a smooth operating trash and brush picking machine."

As usual, it took great food to calm the workers. Tom Pirsch provided what was labeled by all as the "hottest chili this side of 494."

Thanks to Matt, Tom, and all the volunteers for their hard work on a beautiful Saturday morning!
