Members of the Rotary Club of Edina, along with friends and family, volunteered to ring the bell for the Salvation Army red kettle at the
new Byerly’s in Edina this past December.

For the 20 hours (over five days) Rotarians rang the bell, the total from the kettle was $4,756. With a triple match on Dec. 19, the grand total was $5,766!

The Salvation Army thanked Dan Hallberg, who coordinated the bell ringers for our Club along with the help of Wayne Harmon, for all his hard work. The organization was also appreciative of Dan and Jerry Potter’s efforts tp get other Rotary clubs in our area involved in this wonderful holiday volunteer effort.

Thanks to all the Rotarians and others who spent time ringing the bell this holiday season. And to everyone who dropped by and put a donation in the kettle! We’ll see you out there again in 2015!
