The heirloom clock donated to the City of Edina by the Rotary Club of Edina has been installed at Centennial Lakes Park! The clock was installed on June 27 by the Verdin Company. The donation is a culmination of more than a year of work by the Club to coordinate the gift to the city in honor of the city's 125th anniversary.

The Club raised $26,000 to donate the 15-foot-6-inch, two-faced "heirloom clock" to Centennial Lakes Park. The "Howard Replica" clock was erected in the Hughes Pavilion at the park on Friday, June 27. The aluminum, weather-proof clock will feature a Rotary emblem on its 3-foot-8-inch diameter face to symbolize "the longtime partnership between our service club and the City of Edina," Scott MacDonald, Past President of Rotary Club of Edina, wrote in a letter to the city. MacDonald and others in the Club worked with city officials to make this gift come to fruition.
