Rotary District 5950 Governor Mark Hegstrom is this week's program speaker
Rotary District 5950 Governor Mark Hegstrom will be the program speaker at the Thursday, Aug. 11, Rotary Club of Edina meeting. He is the 2016–2017 District Governor for District 5950, which includes Minneapolis and suburbs, central and western Minnesota. Hegstrom is a member of the Edina Morningside Rotary Club. Hegstrom grew up in Edina and graduated from Edina High School in 1983. He went on to study Economics at the University of Minnesota, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. He joined the Rotary Club of Edina Morningside in 2002. Hegstrom served as President of his club in 2008–2009, and has since worked in District 5950 on numerous committees for the District Foundation, the District Conference and Membership. As a champion of The Rotary Foundation, Hegstrom and his wife are Major Donors and Paul Harris Society members.
New member Hannelore Brucker will be officially inducted into the club at the meeting.
