Southwest Metro Veterans Day Luncheon is Nov. 11
The Rotary Clubs of Area 3 in the southwest metro will honor our veterans at a special event Monday, Nov. 11. The Veterans Day Luncheon will be at the Minnesota Valley Country Club in Bloomington on Veterans Day. The program speaker is Rotary Club of Edina member retired General Dennis Schulstad.
Registration for this event is now closed. This counts as the regular meeting that week for Edina Rotarians. There is not Rotary Club of Edina meeting on Nov. 14.
Rotary Club of Edina will join with other Clubs in Area 3 to honor our veterans at a special event on Nov. 11. The annual Southwest Metro Rotary Veterans Day Luncheon will be Monday, Nov. 11, at the Minnesota Valley Country Club in Bloomington. The program will begin at 11:30 a.m. The keynote speaker this year is Brigadier General Denny Schulstad and the emcee is Boyd Huppert from KARE 11.
The Southwest Area Rotary Clubs consists of the following Rotary clubs of Area 3 in District 5950: Rotary Club of Edina, Edina Morningside, Bloomington Noon, Bloomington Daymakers, Eden Prairie AM, Eden Prairie Noon, Richfield and the South Metro Evening Rotary Club. We come together each year to honor the men and women who have served in our military services. Veterans Day recognizes the many sacrifices that have been made to protect our nation and our freedom. This meeting is always one of the highlights of the year and is sure to be fantastic again with Denny as the keynote speaker!
Registration for this event is now closed. Edina Rotarians who registered to attend will have their lunches paid for by the club, since this counts as the regular meeting that week. There is not Rotary Club of Edina meeting on Nov. 14.
