Featured Speaker - Lieutenant Colonel Michael Wickman

Deputy Commander Wickman is a highly decorated military veteran, having served both in Iraq and Kuwait as a member of the Army Reserve National Guard.  His current assignment is Deputy Commander, 1-34 Brigade Combat Team, Minnesota National Guard. 

His rise through the ranks has included military training at the Army War College, Command and General Staff College, Combined Arms and Services Staff School and Airborne School, to name a few. His civilian education includes a BA in International Relations from St. Thomas University and a degree in Minor-Middle East Politics from American University Cairo, Egypt.

Emcee for this luncheon will be Reg Chapman, WCCO TV

Reg joined WCCO-TV in May of 2009 following most recent assignments with WNBC-TV, New York City, KSTP-TV, Minneapolis, WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh.  Reg is a Gulf War Veteran himself and an active volunteer in many community organizations including the Urban League, NAACP and YMCA.  He has also been recognized for his work throughout his career, including an Edward R. Murrow award for investigative reporting, several Associated Press awards and honors from the Society of Professional Journalists. He has also been nominated for several regional Emmy Awards from the National Television Academy for investigative reporting.  Reg graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism.
