The Rotary Foundation names Rotary Club of Edina No. 1 in District 5950

District Governor Bob Stowell recently presented the Rotary Club of Edina with a “No. 1 Club in District” 2011-2012 Annual Giving recognition banner and a $200 Million Challenge Certificate of Appreciation.

Recognition banners are given to the three per capita giving clubs in every district. Certificates were given to those clubs that contributed $2,000 or more to Rotary’s Challenge to End Polio Now.

Stowell presented the recognition banner and certificate at the District 5950 Mid-Term Assembly. Past President Wooj Byun, who was president during the year for which the awards were presented, accepted the recognition.
