The Rotary Club of Edina will welcome Jason DeRusha as the program speaker at the Thursday, Sept. 10, meeting. DeRusha is the co-anchor of WCCO 4 News This Morning program, airing each weekday on the station. He is also co-anchor of WCCO's Mid-Morning program.

Join the Rotary Club of Edina for their meeting Thursday, Sept. 10, where the program speaker will be WCCO's Jason DeRusha. DeRusha is the co-anchor of WCCO 4 News This Morning program, airing each weekday on the station. He is also co-anchor of WCCO's Mid-Morning program.
 
DeRusha graduated from the University Honors Program at Marquette University with political science and broadcast communications degrees, magna cum laude. Marquette University named him the Young Alumnus of the Year in 2012.
 
He co-anchors WCCO 4 News This Morning with Jamie Yuccas, along with co-anchoring WCCO Mid-Morning with Kylie Bearse each weekday. He's covered the Interstate 35W bridge collapse, flash flooding, tornadoes and school shootings. DeRusha has been nominated for 20 Regional Emmy Awards and he's earned eight Emmy Awards. His "DeRusha Eats" segment has been nominated for the James Beard Award in Broadcast Media. The Minnesota Jaycees named him one of the Ten Outstanding Young Minnesotans and the city of Minneapolis proclaimed Sept. 21 "Jason DeRusha Day."

The Rotary Club of Edina meets Thursdays from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome to attend. Cost for lunch and the program is $19 for adults, $12 for children.
