The 2025-2026 Rotary Club of Edina Meeting Duty Roster and Duty Description outline was sent to your email on file Saturday, July 5. The roster format has been simplified to an alphabetical list by member, with the meeting date and task to the left of your name. The number of duties has been reduced to four: Front Desk/Intro Guest; Greeter/Invocation; Speaker Intro/Thank the Speaker and Photographer. More meeting duty details are below. In general, most active members will have one date to report for duty throughout the 2025-2026 Rotary year. The exception to one annual duty will be members of the Public Image Committee and the Speaker Committee. Members of these two committees respectively, have multiple dates for taking meeting photos or introducing/thanking the speaker on a rotating basis. Speaker intro duties have been assigned for the first half of the year, and the second half will follow as the speakers are booked. 
 
Meeting duty email reminders will be generated on a monthly basis with multiple dates and support documents going out around the 20th of the month prior, i.e. August duty reminders will be sent around July 20th. A short "this Thursday" reminder with no supporting documents will be sent the Friday before your duty. Technology Tip: Within your Rotary Profile click on the "My Commitments" tab which gives you access to your meeting duty schedule, volunteer, and event schedule.
 
If for some reason you cannot attend the meeting and fulfill your assigned duty, you must find a replacement within the club and communicate that change to Club Service Director, Mike Martiny, mike.martiny@gmail.com. Let us know of any changes in duties as soon as possible.
