As this Rotary year winds down, I wanted to share some updates and changes with our billing process. Please click on the link below for more info on ACH sign up, increasing credit card fees and the option to enter a separate email address in ClubRunner for billing. Let me or Club Administrator Jennifer Garske know if you have questions.• ACH sign-up—We encourage everyone to sign up for automatic payments for your quarterly invoices. There is no cost to you, and it saves time and money for the club. The payments are taken automatically out of your checking or saving account each quarter, after you have had the chance to review your invoice. You can find the automatic payment form in the documents section on our website (in the Member Area), or contact Jennifer Garske to send you one. Just fill it out and email it to Jen (jgarske@EdinaRotary.org) or drop it off with her at a meeting.
• Credit card fees—The fee for paying online using your credit card will increase from 2.8 percent to 5 percent starting with payments made in Q1 (July 2018). Members will see the fee increase on those payments on the Q2 invoice. We are raising the fees to get the amount charged to members in line with what we as a club are charged to offer this service.
• Separate email address for billing—ClubRunner now allows members to have an alternative email address in the system to just send invoices to. If you would like your invoice to go to someone else for payment (accounts payable, assistant, spouse, etc.), we can update that info and the invoices will automatically go to that person. All other Rotary communication would still go to the member’s regular email address. You can update this yourself in your profile information (look for "preferred dues & billing email" after you log into your profile) or send the info to Jen Garske and she will update it in the system. Note that the member will not be copied on the invoice, it will only go to the email address designated for billing.
