THIS WEEK - Thursday,  July 20, 5:30-7pm. REGISTER HERE In partnership with Tomme Beevas and Pimentos Jamaican Kitchen, Black Business Networking will encourage us to continue to expand the efforts of our club's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. The 2023 networking event will be held Thursdays July 20, September 21 and November 16  from 5:30-7pm at Pimento Jamaican Kitchen, 2524 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404. This week's featured business leader is Brittany Clausen (she/her) is the Founder and Visionary Strategist of Envision Greatness. For almost ten years, she has helped purpose-driven leaders achieve business goals through strategic planning, organizational development, leadership coaching, and professional development training with a racial justice lens.  Meeting details are:

6:15-6:45 Featured Black Entrepreneur presents their business story to the group

Brittany uses her training to combat harmful practices, and influence change within the community, by helping others leverage mindfulness and emotional intelligence techniques. Her work includes data and person-centered metrics to help clients achieve realistic and personal goals. Brittany holds a B.A. in Psychology and a Master's of Social Work degree from St. Catherine University, Saint Paul, MN. She currently serves as the Vice President and Racial Justice Chair of the National Association of Social Workers MN Chapter. Brittany believes in developing radical solutions through a social justice lens to help people understand their level of influence in their communities and use it for good.
