Paul Thissen was appointed to the Minnesota Supreme Court in 2018. Before that he practiced law for 25 years and served for 16 years in the Minnesota House of Representatives including a term as Speaker of the House. Paul grew up in Bloomington, attended Holy Angels Academy, Harvard University and University of Chicago Law School. He and his wife Karen live in south Minneapolis and have three children.
