Our speaker on February 26, 2026 will be, Tony Margarit, a finance leader in the crypto & blockchain industry with 15+ years of experience working with start-ups and high-growth companies. He is extremely passionate about the blockchain & crypto industry, and he strongly believes in the benefits of decentralization, permissionless transacatons, and true ownership of assets. He was previously the Head of Finance for a leading blockchain & NFT ticketing platform and is currently an advisor for an up & coming web3 mobile game. He’s been heavily involved in crypto & web3 ecosystems since 2015 as an investor, advisor, and finance leader.He started his career as a CPA and spent 5 years with a top-10 CPA firm providing audit, tax, and advisory services for privately held companies. Since then, he’s built & led finance teams in several high-growth industries including SaaS, esports, and most notably the web3/crypto space. He currently leads the finance & operaons departments for Electric Coin Co. (creators of Zcash) and is also the Co- Chair of the Blockchain Association's Tax, Accounting & Bookkeeping Best Practices Working Group.
