The upcoming construction project on Highway 169 will be the program topic at the Thursday, Dec. 8, Rotary Club of Edina meeting. Melissa Madison, Executive Director of the I-494 Corridor Commission and Commuter Services, and Andrew Lutaya, a senior project manager with the Minnesota Department of Transportation, will speak about the scope and timeline of the project that begins in January 2017. Their program is titled "State of the Commute." 
 
New member Kim Stoner will be officially inducted into the club at the meeting.
 
The Dec. 8 meeting is the last regular Rotary meeting of the year. The Rotary Holiday Party will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at the Edina Country Club. Due to the holidays, there are no Rotary meetings Dec. 22 and 29. The next regular meeting will be at the usual time and place Jan. 5, 2017.
