FINAL COLLECTION DAY is  December 16.  The Rotary Club of Edina is collecting holiday gifts for families and youth in need in our community.  **DONATE HERE** During these challenging times, there is a special need for help and support.  Rotarians Jean Morrison and Les Jones are organizing the Holiday Giving Program which will be donating to Cornerstone and 66 West this year. Bring your unwrapped gifts and gift cards to the December 16 Holiday party.  Contact Jean Morrison or Les Jones for other delivery options. Click "Read More" for gift ideas.
Cornerstone:  Gifts for families as they are hunkered down this winter – puzzles, adult and children’s coloring books, small toys, games.  They are also in need of plastic snow mittens for kids, coats, and boots for adults and kids and women’s pajamas.

66 West:  Gift cards from Target, Cub Foods, Marshalls and WalMart.

Here is some additional info about the organizations we are collecting for:

Cornerstone – works with families and individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual violence and human trafficking.  Their Emergency Shelter provides a safe place to stay and basic needs for those who are in imminent danger of violence.  As you can imagine, it is very difficult for families to be in a shelter and away from their extended families and friends – during the holidays.  Your gifts to Cornerstone’s clients helps make the season brighter for them because they know that our community cares and supports them.

66 West – provides homes for 39 suburban youth that have experienced homelessness.  Rent is based on income and provide on-site support for education, employment, health, and civic engagement and leadership.

Thank you for sharing your holiday spirit again this year with those in need in our community.
