The business leader, Katherine Lankford, has been in the mortgage industry for over 20 years. Her background in underwriting, credit and financial services coupled with a Master of Divinity Degree gives her a unique perspective on personal finance. In an effort to share financial literacy with her community, Katherine started financial literacy programing at her church. Katherine now does financial programming with groups in the community who want to increase their financial literacy. She hosted an event in July 2022 called the MedFiDance. It was launched as she considered how many people suffer from financial trauma without even realizing it. Flyer details HERE.
In partnership with Tomme Beevas and Pimentos Jamaican Kitchen, Black Business Networking will encourage us to continue to expand the efforts of our club's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
