Austin, gives the gift of hearing to people in need in the U.S. and around the world. According to the World Health Organization, disabling hearing loss affects around 466 million people worldwide, including 34 million children, yet many do not have access to the hearing healthcare. Our mission is to give the gift of hearing to those in need, empowering them to achieve their potential.Richards spent three years as an International Program Director at Starkey Hearing Foundation, leading a team as we created awareness of hearing loss and its impact on developing countries. They brought the WFA Community Based Hearing Healthcare program to nine Caribbean countries and successfully implemented the program in partnerships with local governments and NGOs.
