We need Rotarian VOLUNTEERS for our booth at India Fest! Sign up for a shift HERE!
The Rotary Club of Edina, along with other metro area Rotary clubs, will participate in IndiaFest 2026 to celebrate culture, community and service while showcasing the impact Rotary makes locally and around the world.
The 51st-annual IndiaFest 2026 will take place 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Minnesota State Capitol Grounds in St. Paul. Organized by the India Association of Minnesota (IAM), this free public event celebrates India's Independence Day with cultural performances, regional foods, and over 100 festival booths. IndiaFest is IAM’s signature annual event, giving attendees the opportunity to “Experience India in a Day.”
Rotary will have a booth from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for attendees to meet Rotarians from multiple clubs, discover volunteer opportunities, connect with community leaders and view an interactive community display. “IndiaFest is an opportunity for Rotarians to build new friendships, celebrate Minnesota's vibrant diversity and share Rotary's mission of Service Above Self with thousands of community members,” said Rotary Club of Edina DEI Director Tanwi Prigge. “Together, we can strengthen connections, inspire service and demonstrate that Rotary is a place where everyone belongs.” For more information on the Rotary booth at the event, contact Prigge, tanwimp@gmail.com.
Everyone is Welcome! Whether you're a longtime Rotarian, a prospective member, or simply curious about Rotary, we'd love to meet you.
