The Rotary Club of Edina will welcome Laura Mulliken as program speaker at the Thursday, Sept. 20, meeting. She will speak about "Sex Trafficking in Minnesota and the Community Response." Laura Mulliken works for Source Anti Trafficking in the Whittier neighborhood of Minneapolis, where they have a restoration home for survivors of sex trafficking and outreach programs to both victims and exploiters. She is a frequent speaker on sex trafficking awareness and prevention, the impact of pornography, outreach and restoration for the sexually exploited; and is a gifted bible teacher.
Mulilken and her husband, Todd, reside in Edina and are parents to three amazing young adult women and proud in-laws of two great guys.
The Rotary Club of Edina meets at 12:15 p.m. Thursday at the Edina Country Club. All are welcome. Cost for lunch and the program is $20 for adults, $12 for children. Cash, check and credit card payments are accepted at the door.
