Thank you for the very generous grant to the Suds of Hope laundry project at Open Arms for Children! I am very grateful for your leadership in making this combined District and multi-Club grant possible! With 58 children in our care, we do a lot of laundry at Open Arms and this generous grant will help us buy new laundry equipment to keep up with our work. God bless you, and each and every member of your fabulous Rotary Club for the help! 

 

Enclosed you will find a photo of the two new employees we have recently hired to work [at the new laundry building]. These women are single mothers, so thank you for your critical role in making their employment possible. The Edina Rotary Club is truly representing Rotary In Action to our staff and children!

 

 

We hope to purchase the laundry equipment soon and have it installed by the end of the year. We will be proud to display a sign outside the laundry bearing the name of the Edina Rotary Club!

Lastly, here is a photo of a 3-year-old girl name Ligugu, who has called Open Arms "home" for the last 18 months. As you can see, she is a joyful, happy child who always keeps us on our toes! Ligugu came to us when her mother passed away and we are very privileged to provide a home for her. She is representative of the children that your generous grant will assist. 

Children like Ligugu are the reason that Open Arms exist. I hope that her smiling face reminds you of the great good you are doing for our children. Thanks to your members and your leadership, the Edina Rotary Club is making great things happen at Open Arms!

Thank you for your generosity! Your gift of $1,800 in November 2018 to Feed My Starving Children will send $8,181 nutritious MannaPack(TM) meals to the neediest for God's children across the globe.

 

When you give to FMSC, you provide hope and encouragement through nourishing meals. You show those in desperate situations that hope is greater than hunger, poverty, natural disasters, disease, political conflict and war.
